The garden is about 3 km from Girgaum Chowpatty Beach and 1 km from Juhu Beach. The entrance to the garden is located at the northern end of Girgaum Chowpatty Beach. There are two entrances to this garden: one from Juhu Beach and another from Girgaum Chowpatty Beach. The entrance fee for foreigners is Rs100 while Indians pay Rs50 per person as entry fee.
Gorai Beach
Gorai Beach is a popular beach in Mumbai, India. It is located on the eastern side of Gorai creek. It is best known for its long stretches of sand, which are golden in colour due to the presence of silt deposited by the creek during floods. Gorai Creek was once a major drainage channel for water from nearby slums, but after a canal was built in western Mumbai, the creek’s water has been used to irrigate gardens and farmland in nearby suburbs. The beach is located at Khar West, near Gorai village in Thane district, Mumbai. The surrounding area consists mainly of housing colonies with shops and restaurants along its shoreline.
